Your changelog can be a product surface

Treat updates as useful, durable pages, not disposable release notes.

An update is part of the product

Customers read a changelog to understand whether a product is moving in a useful direction. A good entry names the change, explains who benefits, and gives enough context to use it immediately.

Write each update as a durable page rather than a temporary announcement. Clear titles, direct links, screenshots, and connections to the relevant product documentation make the entry useful long after release day.

A consistent changelog also compounds trust. It shows the pace of work, records decisions, and gives prospective users evidence that the product is actively maintained. The archive becomes a product surface, not an administrative obligation.
